Wabash Electric Supply Inc. Return Policy

Wabash Electric must issue a RMA Pickup Notice before any product is shipped back. Original order or invoice number, part number, quantity, and specific reason for return must be provided before a RMA Pickup Notice will be issued. All returned product must be unused, in original packaging without marks or damage, and in saleable condition. Returned product through a RMA Pickup Notice does not guarantee a Credit Authorization will be issued. All product returns will be visually inspected and the original order will be verified against the following return policy to determine if a Credit Authorization will be issued.


Please note the following are not returnable.  


  • Any product ordered more than one year from the return request date
  • Any non-stock product delivered more than 60 days from the return request date
  • Any cut wire or cable
  • Any custom or made-to-order product
  • Individual quantities less than the ordered package quantity 
  • Factory seal is broken or packaging is damaged

Stock Product

Restocking charges will apply per the following schedule:


  • Product returned within 90 days will have no restock fee
  • Product returned within 91 to 180 days 15% restock fee 
  • Product returned more than 180 days after the order date must be reviewed due to potential manufacturer obsolescence, expirations, and/or version level changes
  • Large quantities returned from a job or lot order are subject to a minimum 35% restock fee plus freight or possible refusal to return excess product based on the manufacturer's return policy

Non-Stock Product

  • All non-stock return requests made within 60 days from the delivery day will be contingent on the manufacturer's return policy, restock fees, and acceptance. If returnable to the manufacturer, there will be a minimum 35% restock fee plus freight.
  • A Credit Authorization will not be issued until after an approved RMA is issued to Wabash Electric from the manufacturer.

Rockwell Automation Warranty & Defective Returns

  • Wabash Electric cannot ship product from our local inventory to cover Rockwell warranty replacements per Rockwell Automation's policy. We will generate a "dead on arrival" or a "warranty immediate exchange" replacement request to ship a replacement the same day or following business day.
  • If a high value electronic product failed, Rockwell Automation may require a call to Rockwell Technical Support (888-382-1583) to generate a case number for the return request.

Warranty & Defective Returns (Non-Rockwell Automation)

  • Warranty and defective returns are contingent on the warranty terms of the manufacturer. Some manufacturers only offer repairs or exchanges for select products and may not authorize returns for credit.

Wabash Electric Errors

  • Wabash Electric will provide full credit for a product return that is determined to be due to an error by Wabash Electric if the return request is made within 90 days of the delivery date.
